Welcome to a new school year! The children arrive with eager anticipation to start the year, and we hope to capture that interest and enthusiasm throughout the year with learning activities, field trips and social engagement. The school counselors in each building are available for all parents and children. Counselors support children in both their successes and struggles. Do not hesitate to call the shcool counselor to discuss any concerns, changes in family dynamics, illness or death in the family, or any other challenge that the child might be experiencing. These life events can affect the child emotionally, behaviorally, socially, and academically, so the school counselor is a good resource in providing support for the child and the family during those times. We look forward to a great year!
Our focus for the month of October is Respect. We strive to teach and give students the tools to show respect for others, themselves, our schools, homes, and in all areas of our lives. Several activities are planned throughout the month.
